[Lad said nothing for a time, again trying to make sense of everything in his head. He was so confused as to why Solas, Mythal's favored, was being so... so... he didn't even have a word for it! If you are heavy then I have aged beyond my years, [ a light tease though he understands the implications of Lad's words. Was that how Sylaise allowed her slaves to be treated? He keeps his hand in Lad's hair, idly playing with the strands as he thinks. ]

[The entire concept of what he wanted was still somewhat beyond his grasp. So long had he learned that personal desire was wrong, and to act on it would mean pain or death. Now, desperately trying to make sense of Solas' offer, his mind fell back on what he was taught.]

[as Solas' grip loosened, Lad's grip on Solas tightened, and he pressed himself against the other a little more before very reluctantly pulling back. His conflict on the matter was easy to see.]

[ He scowls though it is not directed at Lad, but toward whoever among Sylaise's own was enforcing such rules. Though part of him wonders if he had pressured Lad, pushed him too far.

He rests a hand on Lad's shoulder though it was to rub his thumb along him than to hold the man in place. ]

You did nothing wrong, [ he says firmly. ] You deserve to have a say in the completion of your tasks as any other or do they truly think they can control what you do when the door closes?

[There was a sense of relief as Solas' assurance that he did nothing wrong, even if he knew his handlers would not agree.]

I must do what my client needs most, I cannot satisfy myself. It isn't normally an issue, but... [But this time it had been different. He tried to shake the thought away.] It doesn't matter, they will be cross when I tell them.

[ But surely Sylaise knew better than to send one to bed one of Mythal's favored and a general at that. He knew to expect it from some of the Evanuris, but not from Sylaise and not in this. ]

[Probably not wise to just flat out admit that is something they have, but that exactly the reason he is not a spy. He was, however, a very well conditioned slave.]

I have to tell them when I've broken the rules, we need to be punished for misdeeds or we will become faulty and disobedient.

[ That Sylaise has spies is not surprising. He's certain all of the Evanuris do in their own ways, including Mythal. He watches Lad with concern and frowns. ]

You do not have to tell them. If they ask, simply say I requested it. You should not be punished for anything you did here for tonight.

[ If anything, it only made him guiltier for not forcing this 'gift' of Sylaise's away from him. ]

[That entire concept takes a moment for Lad to process. He could just... not tell them and maybe stretch the truth. Normally he'd recoil at such an idea, but Solas offering it up was like him granting the other permission to do so.

Still, he was very tentative, and wanted to make certain he had not made any mistakes.]

You wouldn't tell them? I could just lay with you again like before?

If you would like, yes. I-- [ he hesitates for a moment, keeping his touch on Lad light. ]

I do not want to cause trouble for you.

[ Since there was far more at play here than he had realized when he had relented and accepted the 'gift' of company. ]

[That wasn't the solid affirmative he was looking for. Had Solas changed his mind? Did he not want him to lay with him? Lad's brows furrowed in worry as he studied Solas' face to try and figure out just what it was he wanted. He was usually good at this, but now it was all just so confusing.]

[A smile crept across his face and he bit his lip from the thrill of having a secret. It was difficult enough for him to act on his own desires as it was, he wouldn't be able to do so unless his partner also wished for it.]

[Lad closed his eyes and nuzzled his head into Solas' hand, then looked down at the two of them and laughed.]

I think that would be a good idea, starting with this- [Lad leaned back and twisted so he could slide the vobrator out of Solas, and tossed it back into the basket he had sitting on the corner of the bed. He idly brushed Solas' inner thigh with the back of his fingers as he turned back around and dismounted him.

[ He shivers at Lad's touch, basking in it for the brief moment he has it before the man leaves him. He's quick to join him and smiles into the kiss. ]

I will draw us a bath. [ Because with how relaxed Solas felt after that, it was the least he could do and he moves to do so. He was fortunate that he had a private space to do so here and he activates the enchantments on the side to warm the water as he busies himself. ]

[Lad watched Solas, admiring him as he went about warming the bath, then he stood and made his way over himself. He took a seat on the edge of the bath idly running his hand in the water.]

It's not often I get company in the bath, this will be nice.

[ Once the water is filling the bath, he shifts so he can wrap his arms around Lad, keeping his hold light should the man want to make space. Solas could say the same, but his tasks hardly warranted such company. ]

With all you have done, you deserve more than this, [ he says and brushes his hands over Lad's waist. ] Would you be able to stay the night?

[The moment Solas wrapped his arms around him, Lad perked up and looked up at Solas with a mixture of fondness and excitement. This was new for him, and truthfully he wasn't certain how to react. But slowly and tentatively he moved his arms around Solas, making certain he was not crossing any boundaries, then once all seemed well he scooted a little closer and let himself cuddle up a little bit more.]

You are very sweet, but I did not do anything special. There are others that could have done a far better job than I. [Which was true, there was a reason he was often left to serve those of lower ranks. Solas' question makes his smile take on a mischievous air to it. If this was their little secret, then he could stay as long as Solas was near.] If you were to request it, no one would be able to argue against it.

[ This was new for him as well yet the way Lad curled up with him felt right. He kept his arms around him, his hand resting on Lad's shoulder and pressing his thumb into the muscles of his upper back. ]

None of them possess a heart such as yours. [ It was what he had seen of Lad before this that made him want to meet the man more personally. He tucks Lad's head beneath his chin and makes a small sound as if considering that. ] I do request it. For as long as you can stay with me.

[For this moment, while he couldn't quite understand what it was, he felt a warmth form in his stomach. It was strange yet soothing, but he couldn't quite place a finger on what it was. Whatever it was it almost felt nicer than sex.

He let his eyes close and he simply melted into the other's embrace. He... didn't want to move, and for a brief moment he thought about how things would be like if he belonged only to Mythal, able to serve only Solas. Some of the other pleasure slaves got that as a duty, but they were often the highest ranking.
