[There's a pleased laugh that trails off into a hum.]
So I get to keep you all to myself? You spoil me.
[He started rubbing circles on Solas' back, while he kept the other hand cupping his cheek, and stroking his cheekbone with his thumb. He wondered what Solas' life had been like in Arlathan, or with Mythal, or wherever. He was so distant when they met, and while he had encountered people who did not share the Dalish's tendency to invade each other's personal space, Solas had been reluctant to be touched enough to be healed on their first meeting. Was he just not used to it? Was it some ancient Elvhen thing? He'd obviously had other lovers, so he couldn't have been that adverse to it.
Well, whatever the reason he hoped to maybe change it, just a little.]
[ Fortunately for Solas, having been touched in the past could be spread out over centuries rather than inflicted within a short period of time on him. Though he's finding himself more and more relaxed in Lad's presence as a sense of familiarity and comfort falls over them.
He smiles faintly as he presses his cheek into Lad's hands and makes a small sound of contentment as his partner rubs his back. ]
So long as you keep moving your hands, yes, [ he teases, voice low. He had expelled all his desire to be loud when he came. ]
[If anyone told him that he would willingly give his virginity to the feared and revered Fen'harel, he'd have thought them mad. He still wasn't certain he could wrap his mind around it. He had an Elvhen legend spent and curled up in his arms. Forget Dread wolf The man was cuddling up to him like a pleased cat. It was... very endearing to see.]
Anything to make you happy.
[He pressed a kiss to his lover's forehead, and began to hum one of the old Dalish lullabies he'd heard so often growing up, on those hot summer nights when the babies were fussing. If he were honest, they still did bring him comfort, and he wanted to maybe share some of that with Solas.]
[ As much as Lad had been hesitant at the start of this, he was far more willing to share affection than Solas. A side effect of his upbringing? Solas had noticed how close the clan had been together with their very survival depending on everyone else.
In the privacy of their inn room, it's easier for Solas to relax as he lets the sound of Lad singing wash over him. He shifts until he's laying partially on the bed, only half atop Lad now and absently strokes the man's hair. ]
And what about yourself? [ he asks after a few moments of simply listening to Lad sing. ]
[Lad shifts to adjust when Solas moves, intent on keeping him as close as he could. Solas' words make him laugh, and thus interrupts the singing if just for a moment.]
I'm already happy, just like this.
[He nuzzled his face against his lover's just to emphasize the point. This was all he needed. He could be happy with this and nothing more. He had someone to love and care for, after... how many years had he longed for some kind of companionship? He hadn't even known just how lonely he was until he had found a friend in Solas, and now that the other had stolen his heart it was like that pain had melted away.]
[ Lad won't have to worry about Solas going anywhere. He's far too comfortable and willing to indulge in this for the time being. Lad made a surprisingly good pillow even if their positioning and height difference meant his feet were hanging off the bed. ]
If that changes... You only have to ask, [ he murmurs, moving his head enough to kiss Lad. He nips his bottom lip when the kiss parts and settles back against him.
Whatever their relationship boiled down to, he cared enough about Lad to be here and he wasn't going to let the other man focus blindly on him without receiving anything. ]
